Makati allocates P700M for infrastructure projects

The city government of Makati has allocated P700 million for 2007 infrastructure projects.
Mayor Jejomar C. Binay said the P700-million infrastructure budget will cover, among other things, the modernization of more schoolbuildings with the addition of state-of-the-art science laboratories, new computers with free Internet access, speech laboratories and audio-visual rooms; the building of new and the modernization of old community complexes, multipurpose halls; the building of sports and health-care facilities; and the rehabilitation of parks, the building of new land development projects, including landscaping and beautification of various parts of Makati City.
