Posted by Michille on June 29th, 2007

A passenger vessel carrying more than 400 people was stranded in waters between Leyte and Bohol provinces after its main generator bogged down before dawn Friday, DZMM reported.

The report said Sulpicio Lines’ M/V Princess of the Ocean left Cagayan de Oro City 7 p.m. Thursday. Its main generator later shut down around 2 a.m.

The ferry, carrying 481 passengers, was supposed to dock at Cebu City pier at 7 a.m.
