RP fishing vessel seized in Palau

REPUBLIC OF PALAU — A large fishing vessel based in General Santos City, Philippines was intercepted by Palau’s Marine Law Enforcement patrol vessel PSS H.I. Remeliik on February 21 for suspected illegal fishing within the islands’ exclusive economic zone.

Joker on EO 464: What’s there to revoke?

Malacañang and the Senate should stop their battle for “political supremacy” by putting a stop to the bickering over the imposition of the controversial Executive Order (EO) 464.
Sen. Joker Arroyo said yesterday EO 464 has been used by Cabinet officials as an excuse to snub inquiries at the Senate.
